Product Description The S Series is the latest offering from the Sony Bravia line of high-performance and sleek styling LCD TVs. Features such as PC input allow the user to connect a PC for viewing content in a 16:9 high resolution environment. And with integrated HDTV capabilities, you can enjoy digital programming with enhanced audio and video reproduction. While the KDL-32S2010 is value priced, it also offers an elegant flat panel design to place anywhere in your home. The Sony S-Series LCD TVs use 7th generation Sony LCD panels for truly matchless image quality and performance. These panels are produced from one of the world's biggest mother glass to efficiently create large, high quality panels. The LCD high definition display (1366 x 768) that is used offers an astounding 178 degree viewing angle, very fast response times (8 ms total rise and fall time) and a spectacular contrast ratio. Full Digital Video Processor BRAVIA S-Series Digital LCD televisions use Sony's BRAVIA Engine full digital video processor for crisp and clear images. Several special picture enhancement technologies are integrated into the processor to create better gradations and details, enhance contrast, dynamically improve color, and reduce image flicker. Designed for maximum versatility, Sony's S-Series Digital LCD TV line is equipped with a comprehensive range of input interfaces. The HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is the first industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. HDMI technology supports enhanced or High Definition video, together with multi-channel digital audio to provide matchless image and sound reproduction. The PC input (HD-15-pin) offers easy connection to your PC, allowing you to use your high resolution BRAVIA S-Series Digital TV as a computer monitor.

Feature List 7th Generation Sony® LCD Panel: The Sony® S-Series LCD TVs use 7th generation Sony LCD panels for truly matchless image quality and performance. The PC input (HD-15-pin) offers easy connection to your PC, allowing you to use your high resolution BRAVIA S-Series Digital TV as a computer monitor. Light Sensor Intelligently adjusts the screen brightness to match the ambient light in a room, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. In a dim room for example the screen automatically reduces brightness making it much more comfortable for viewing. SRS® TruSurround® XT: Building on the success of TruSurround technology, TruSurround XT audio adds three new audio enhancement technologies to produce an amazingly immersive sound experience. Dialog Clarity brings movie dialog into "focus" during the playback of any surround-encoded material to make speech much clearer and crisper. TruBass creates incredible deep rich bass allowing a person to perceive significantly deeper, richer low bass tones that are far beyond the physical low frequency capabilities of the speaker itself. And WOW widens the soundstage by processing standard two-channel stereo material as well as multi-channel encoded material for a dramatic improvement in the playback of any stereo audio over a two-speaker system. Freeze Function: Sony's Freeze Function is a useful function that allows you to temporarily freeze the picture in a separate screen while the programming continues to display. This comes in handy when you want to copy a recipe, phone number, etc. that flashes too quickly across your screen. Simply touch the "Freeze" button on the remote control and copy the details down at your convenience.

Picure fine, audio heavy. May 11, 2009 D. Harwood 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have this TV about a year. The picture is beautiful but the audio is too bassy. This is especially evident when watching movies. Have adjusted the audio every way possible and the treble is not as responsive as a four year old Sony that I have. Other HDTV TVs that my friends own have a much sharper audio quality.
Be smart consumer Sony still king July 24, 2008 Nathan Conrad This TV is perfect for the person who doesn't spend tons of money or time on their movie/tv/gaming lives. If you want top shelf pic you will have to pay out at least $2000. But for me, a mid level gamer-movie watcher-sports fan-this TV is awesome. Many people don't know you need HD service to appreciate the quality. Many people don't know about component cords and proper surround sound setup. I enjoy this TV for its quality and price, I am just an average person who won't belly up and spend $2000 on a tv so for 700 it is perfect, with a brand that has been in the business for decades.
Wonderful TV July 21, 2007 G. Kimmle The Television has a wonderful picture and is very attractive. Visitors to my home ALWAYS comment on how clear the picture is.
Incredible at a great price point.... May 19, 2007 Patrick D. Goonan (Pleasanton, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This Sony TV lives up to all of the industry and Amazon reviews. It is very attractive with any decor, easy to set up and can truly be viewed from almost any angle with excellent picture quality. I would say it is ideal for a viewing distance of up to about 12-15 feet. If you are going to view it at more than this distance, I would get a larger one.
I didn't have any problems with ordering, shipping, etc. The only negative I have to say is that the remote is not very rugged, which is surprising given the high ticket price. Couldn't they put a few extra dollars and give people a nice remote.
You definitely will not be disappointed with this TV for sporting events, correct rendering of flesh tones and adjusting to brightness within a room. Compared to other HDTVs without all of these useful (sometimes essential) features, it's not an apples to apples comparison. If you get one of the less expensive types, the color changes when viewed from an angle, the brightness isn't quite right, etc. Spend the extra money and get something decent, a TV is generally something you will use for a long time.
great tv May 15, 2007 VanWess (NEW YORK, NY United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I debated over buying another model, but this one is really worth the extra cost. The delivery service was poor. They had the wrong number and only after a couple of phone calls on my part did they set up a delivery date
